Canonical: https://peeve.ai/pricing/

Published pricing you can read without a call: three plans, no Custom tier.

One pool of credits powers every channel. No separate sessions and voice minutes to juggle. A conversation on any channel (live chat, email, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger) is 1 credit per rolling 24-hour window; a thread that continues across the same day stays one credit; voice is 0.5 credit a minute; an inbound-email spam scan is 0.01 credit (100 = 1 credit).

## Plans
Channels (live chat, email, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, voice), the Brain, human hand-off and analytics are on **every** plan. The tiers gate what the agent may **do**, seats, and the Scale security features. The line that matters is **Do**: Starter answers and shows (read-only); from Growth up Peeve takes real actions on your backend, with confirmation.
- **Starter, $40/mo**: 1,000 credits, 2 seats. Answer + Show (read-only). No backend actions, no agent channel.
- **Growth, $199/mo** (most popular): 5,000 credits, 5 seats. Adds **Do** (backend actions), live human chat on escalation, connector write-actions, the agent channel (5 grants/user) and the Custom MCP server connector.
- **Scale, $499/mo**: 16,000 credits, 10 seats. Adds the **Custom API connector** (built from your API docs), churn-prevention + retention prompt, the **Lead Research Agent** (automatic lead enrichment), SSO/SAML, audit logs, signed DPA, priority support, unlimited agent grants.
- **Enterprise, from $1,500/mo**. Contracted, not self-serve: custom volume and seats, everything in Scale, and the badge removed. Talk to us.

Fair-use caps keep voice (≤40% of the balance) and email (≤30%) from draining the pool; live chat and social DMs are uncapped. Plans are limited by members, not products. Each plan is per workspace, and a workspace covers one product; to run several products, create a workspace for each, and every workspace has its own subscription. Annual is two months free. Hard cap by default: never billed for overage you didn't buy.

## Add-ons (stack on any plan, not bundled into a tier)
- **Remove the "Powered by Peeve" badge**: $39/mo, or $35/mo billed annually ($420/year).
- **Credit top-up**: 1,500 credits for $49, one-time (not recurring), added to the current period.

## How the category prices: everyone else makes you book a call
A couple of agents publish a number you can read; the rest quote you on a call. Competitor pricing as published at the time of writing; models change. The point is the transparency, not the exact figure.

## More questions

### How much does Peeve cost?

Peeve publishes three monthly plans: Starter $40, Growth $199 and Scale $499, plus contracted Enterprise from $1,500. Every plan runs on one pool of credits, with a 14 day free trial of 100 credits and no card. On Growth it works out to about $0.06 per resolved conversation.

### What plans does Peeve offer?

Starter ($40) answers and shows, read-only. Growth ($199) adds backend actions, the agent channel and the Custom MCP connector. Scale ($499) adds the Custom API connector, churn prevention, the Lead Research Agent, SSO, audit logs and a DPA. Enterprise (from $1,500) is contracted with custom volume.

### Is Peeve cheaper than Intercom Fin?

For in-product questions, yes. Fin charges $0.99 per resolution. Peeve's Growth plan works out to about $0.06 per resolved conversation at typical completion. Fin covers more channels, so the honest comparison is per-conversation within the product.

### How much does AI customer support cost?

Pricing ranges widely, and many vendors hide it behind a sales call. Peeve publishes three monthly plans: Starter $40, Growth $199 and Scale $499, plus contracted Enterprise from $1,500. Every plan runs on one pool of credits, and there is a 14 day free trial with 100 credits and no card.

### What is per-resolution pricing for AI support, and is it fair?

Per-resolution pricing (for example $0.99 per resolution) charges only when the AI resolves a ticket, but the definition of resolved can be generous. Peeve prices by credits instead: a conversation on any channel is one credit per 24 hour window, so you are not billed again for the same thread on the same day. On Growth that works out to about $0.06 per resolved conversation at typical completion.

### Per-resolution vs per-seat vs flat-fee pricing, which is better for AI support?

Per-seat rewards headcount, flat-fee ignores usage, and per-resolution ties cost to outcomes but depends on how resolution is defined. Peeve uses a transparent credit pool shared across every channel, published on the page with no sales call, so cost tracks real usage rather than seats or a vague resolution count.

### What is the ROI of AI customer support?

ROI comes from resolving issues, not just deflecting them, plus freeing your team for the hard cases. An agent that only sends links produces bounce-back tickets that erase the savings. Peeve resolves the root cause by taking the action, and its dashboard shows your real cost per resolved conversation every month so the ROI is measurable rather than assumed.

### Does AI customer support reduce ticket volume?

It reduces volume when it actually solves the problem, so the ticket does not come back. Bots that deflect create repeat contacts. Peeve resolves in-product how-do-I questions by showing and doing, and hands the rest to your helpdesk with full context, which lowers both volume and the cost of the tickets that remain.

### Do I still pay if the AI hands the ticket to a human?

With Peeve, conversations where it found nothing and said so are never billed, and agent tool calls, test runs and the guided crawl are not billed either. You are metered on real conversations, not on failures or on handing off, and there is no surprise overage bill: at 100% of your credit balance the cursor simply pauses until you top up or change plan.

### Is AI customer support worth it for a small startup?

Yes, if it is no-code, fast to deploy, and priced for your size. Peeve starts at $40 a month, installs in an afternoon with no ML team, and has a 14 day free trial with no card, so a small team can get an agent that answers, shows and hands off without a sales process.

### Is there a free trial for AI customer support?

Peeve offers a 14 day free trial with 100 credits and every feature including the agent channel. No card and no sales call to start. When the trial ends you pick a plan or stop, and nothing charges without a card on file.

### Which plan do I need for the AI to take backend actions?

Backend actions start on Peeve's Growth plan. Starter answers and shows users where to go, read-only. From Growth up, Peeve executes real actions with confirmation, adds the agent channel and the Custom MCP connector. The Custom API connector, churn prevention and the Lead Research Agent are on Scale.
