# Terms of service

## Acceptance

By installing Peeve or creating a workspace at app.peeve.ai you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

## The service

Peeve is an in-product AI support agent that reads your interface, resolves questions, and hands off to your helpdesk. It runs read-only until you widen its permissions, and a kill switch stops it in a single command.

## Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the workspace configuration you provide, for the permissions you grant, and for obtaining any consent your own users require. You must not use Peeve to act on systems you do not control.

## Fees and billing

Plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Sessions are metered against your plan cap; at 100% the cursor stops until you add prepaid credits or change plan. There is no automatic overage charge you did not agree to.

> Hard cap by default: you are never billed for overage you didn't buy.

## Availability

We aim for high availability and publish uptime on the status page, but the service is provided without an uptime guarantee except where a written agreement states otherwise.

## Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Peeve's aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

## Changes

We may update these terms and will post the date of the latest revision here. Material changes affecting paid plans take effect at your next renewal, not retroactively.
